@savage Moter Gears, can I ask how klong this fix lasted for you? I've found that mine didn't last long. The added tension seems to last a few days or so, and then needs more, I'm at the point now where I can't add any more, and the rattle is worse than ever. Did you find this as well? Hello thank you for uploading this video. I am coding my e90 lci for the very first time . I have retro fitted bi xenon adaptive headlights from halogen as well as FLA mirror and RLS . All these parts have rewired at the head lights as well as the FRM module. I have replaced the FRM module with a FRM 2 AHL LED module from another vehicle which had FLA and RLS . I currently have no warnings on my dash and the head lights are working fine. I want the rain sensors to work as well as the highbeam and the cornering lights . Q1 would I need to code the frm module with my chassis ? Q2 would I just need to code the Cas ? . Q3 do i just follow this video and select the option on Ncs expert dummy? . your help will be much appreciated

How is the transparency in those? Compared to OEM... When I was changing window rocker...thingy....on my e46, I've also bought some chinese replacement ones, as BMW doesn't sell the part that has the most chance of breaking, you have to buy the whole window switch assembly, because, of course - BMW. Well, when I installed it, I noticed that transparency was nowhere near OEM, so of 4 window switches, 3 were nice and one was dim. It looked terrible. Ended up buying used switch assembly for 70€ just to get to one OEM window rocker switch. But the single dim one among 3 normal ones drove me crazy during night drives.

Hey whatsup. I have a problem with my e81 116i. I have no power on the fuel pump. Changed module changed everything but i dont seem to get any power. Sometimes car start for a minute then it dies. Do you have any idea what can it be?

Fantastic video! Congratulations! On my e93 my trunk does not close properly either. Since neither of the two trunk lights comes on, I deduce that it is an electrical problem (some cut wire). Hello! So i went for a drive in my 335i after getting it all back together after 5 months. Got home turned off the car and no power what so ever. I then hooked up my trickle charger and the P on the gear selector alongside my rear brake lights would flash every few seconds. And there is also clicking noises coming from the fuse box. When take the charger off it goes back to having no power. This just happened and i suspect a dead battery, starter that shorted, corroded chassis ground, or this problem in the video. I wanted to see what you think might be the problem??? Thank you

Parts are very hard to get here in Australia. Getting even a seat squab would be very difficult in good condition. And BMW OEM parts are criminally expensive here.

I currently have a 2005 E53 30D with 225000Kms, a 2009 E70 35D (N57) with 190000Kms, a 2010 E70 LCI 40D with 240000Kms and a 2012 E70 LCI 30D with only 155000Kms. Both LCI's have the N57 engines and ZF8HP70 transmissions and they came with timing chain problems. The E53 has the M57TU2 and ZF6HP26. The E53 suffered front suspension bush wear and being full of intake carbon. The rest suffer from EGR carbon mainly, no major oil leaks either. The E70's suffer from broken pastic cupholder slides in the console. E53 and E70 suffer from glow plug controller/glow plug faults. I love the torque of those BMW 6 cyl diesels. Touch wood, no other major failures yet! Both LCI's were run on the extended service intervals because their BMW dealer were utter idiots! Be very careful buying any BMW using the extended service interval, a major cause of timing chain failures in many countries.

Thank you for showing in so much detail how to remove the trim and disassemble the boot mechanism. It's the kind of thing other videos skip over but makes such a difference to a novice. This video helped me fix the boot (again, a broken cable to a microswitch!) and saved me so much money and hassle! Really grateful.

Hey I was hoping you could give me some insight on my 08 bmw 335xi. Car had a slight misfire but it was running fine. I decided to change my sparks and coils but the misfired returned and then the car stalled. Car cranks but will not start, except one or two times but it died immediately. I read codes from MHD app and they are as follows: Fuel pressure: 29F1, 29F3 DME: 2ACC, 2ABC, 2DEC, 30BA, 30BB. I got a bunch of other codes for misfires as well cylinders 4,5,6.

I found it to be somewhat costly, but not so much looking at the milage and the "rough use". Reliability has been good. I have a 2011 35is. Now 243.000km (150.000mi). Mostly vacation / mountain trips (Alps / Pyrenees) / round the house summer evening trips. Replaced: Injectors. Valve cover gasket. Oilpan gasket. Oilfilter housing cover. Coils (2x, last time proactive). Roof end switch. O2 sensor. Front shocks. Windwiper waterpump. Radiator (stone, so not BMW issue). Uses 1 liter of oil every 15.000 - 20.000km (was 30.000km new). Another oilthermostat (opens at 85C/185F) instead of round 100C Wagner Competition Evo 2. Way better and faster cooling. More power AND cooler. Engine tuning: 412hp / 629nm It eats tyres rather quick as well. Going to keep it forever :)

My daily beater is a 2008 x5 with the n52 3.0 si. 212 k miles and runs strong as ever with the coldest AC I have ever felt.

I have just had the same issue with my E93, on using my multimeter to check the switching of the two microswitches, I found one switch did not have any continuity on one wire. I found one broken wire hidden behind the black heat-shield. Now soldered and all working. Thank you for posting this video, it really helps us fix our own cars.

I got lucky--found a 10-year-old 2014 Z4 M-series 6-speed with 6240 total miles. And a bonus--it came with its original tires (I did change them quickly).

Hey there, I have the exact same issue as yours but my counters show 0. My lamp lights when testing it with Foxwell scanner but otherwise the exact same problem as yours. Every single counter is 0 for some reason yet the 9CBB error exists.
